Search and rescue stations
Canadian Coast Guard search and rescue stations operate either year round or seasonally. The seasonal stations are open typically from April to December, based on weather and ice conditions.
Our Inshore Rescue Boat stations provide additional help during the summer boating season. These stations are crewed by students overseen by Canadian Coast Guard personnel.
