Vessel Traffic Services Simulator

The Norcontrol V0C 6000 Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) Simulator incorporates the latest VTS technology and is the largest and first fully interactive, full-mission VTS Simulator in the world.

The VTS Simulator has eight student operations positions and eight ship station "feeder" positions and an outside world so students can interact with agents, Search and Rescue centres, pilots and all other typical marine agencies to produce a realistic work environment.

The flexibility of the "Traffic Centre" has given the MCTS Training Department the ability to offer training to students in the best methods of regulating marine traffic, and ensures that they will be fully prepared when they complete the program. It also allows students to experience real-life situations in a controlled environment where mistakes can be easily corrected without loss of life or property.
