Wind and Wave Information

Wind and wave information is collected, compiled and distributed by several organizations. The Integrated Science Data Management (ISDM) section of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) provides access to many wind and wave resources, including:

• spectral wave data (updated on a weekly basis);
• buoy status reports from Meteorological Services Canada;
• TDC Wind and Wave Climate Atlas; and
• MSC50 Wind and Wave Climatology Atlas.
