Every day, seagoing personnel navigate our waters providing necessary services to Canadians. They protect our nation’s marine sovereignty and save lives; coordinate marine communications and aids to navigation to facilitate maritime traffic; keep international trade routes open by providing vital icebreaking services and protect our waters from pollution through the environmental response program. In addition, Canadian Coast Guard vessels provide a platform for scientific research, fishery surveillance, and marine security activities. For seagoing personnel, Canada’s magnificent waters provide the ultimate office space.
Join the ranks of our Ships’ Officers, the leaders of the vessels or our Ships’ Crew, who keep our vessels running at peak performance and witness the known and unknown corners of our great country.
The Canadian Coast Guard is committed to having a skilled, diversified workforce that reflects the public it serves, and strives to ensure the equitable representation of men and women, visible minorities, Aboriginal peoples and persons with disabilities.
