This course provides an understanding of the hazards associated with the marine environment and ships as well as training in the skills required to cope with such hazards. Course content is s directed in the most up-to-date version of Transport Canada's TP4957 Basic Safety (MED A1). Officer cadets will receive a certificate issued by an accredited organization upon completion.
