In consideration of the unique makeup of the marine community and commercial shipping activity in Atlantic Canada, the Maritime Seacoast Advisory Board (MSAB) was established to enhance the Coast Guard’s ability to consult with its clients and stakeholders. The Board is a proactive, regionally focused team representing commercial shipping interests located throughout the Maritimes Region.
The Board’s mandate is to serve as a permanent forum for discussion between the Assistant Commissioner, Maritimes Region and commercial shipping interests located throughout the Maritimes Region. To discharge this responsibility the Board:
